Lynn M. Dannheisser has spent more than 35 years practicing law. She began as a partner at the international law firm Holland & Knight and later served as city attorney for several of South Florida’s most prosperous municipalities, including South Miami, Pinecrest, Sunny Isles Beach, Surfside, and the Village of Marathon in the Keys.

Her lengthy legal career allows Lynn to write legal thrillers and mysteries. In the last twenty years, she immersed herself in the workings of government politics, and it made her aware of the opportunities for criminal mischief. This knowledge and experience informed her most recent book, Where Nobody Knows Her Name.

Lynn is also a published author (What’s Wrong with Me?, McGraw-Hill 2005) and has written as a guest columnist for the Miami Herald on public affairs. She brings this wealth of professional and writing experience to her new novel, Where Nobody Knows Her Name, a thriller rooted in South Florida’s unique character.

Lynn has retired from a lengthy career practicing law and now writes full-time. She splits her time between Miami and the Berkshire Mountains in western Massachusetts. She enjoys painting, hiking, and enjoying her friends and family. But she nevers stops writing stories in her mind, always keenly observing people and their lives to gather inspiration for her next story.
